In the Horizon

Sunday. I look forward to Sunday. Not Friday, when family and friends arrive. Not Saturday, when graduation takes place. No. I look forward to Sunday because that’s the day when I do not have to worry about anything. I can sit, relax, put my feet up and dream about the future. There will be no worries of the present. That will be nice.

Until then, I have current worries. With schoolwork done, I have to make sure that all my classes are recorded. I need to print out my academic records and compare them to the most recent degree check. I have to give Jay verification of my GPA for the National Dean’s List. I have to turn in my application for Pi Kappa Delta and the Peace Corps.

The Peace Corps… I look forward to that, too. I just hope it’s not too late to sign up. I hope there are still vacant positions for China. No point in waiting. I need to talk to Dave Fogelson, soon.
