How will I fit in my Mandarin Studies? My goal is to finish Volume 2 by this semester. Including this week, there are only 15 weeks before this semester ends. I can accomplish this goal if I complete one lesson per week and double up lessons during weeks where I have a break. How many hours are needed per lesson? I imagine 2 – 3 hours per lesson to complete just the exercises, and then another 2 hours to practice the characters and read the lesson’s text. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 10:30am will be scheduled for Mandarin Studies. Wednesday evenings from 7 until 8pm will be a good one-hour practice session for characters. I will revise this schedule if necessary.
