I finished the budget report, finally, yesterday afternoon. For an even twenty pages of work, I received praise from my supervisors. According to Steve Newman from HSU Media Services, this budget will “change the way [they] do things around here for the better.” That’s good to know.
Tomorrow will be my last day at Fire & Light Originals. I have been with this company since November 1999. I promised to stay until graduation, and I did. It may seem a long time to stay for a job that has remained monotonous after the first year. Fortunately, the people here have been good to me. They allowed me to work hours that I set, and they understood and accepted the fact that I was going to leave. On my resume, I will be allowed to put “Credit Manager” as the position held. Pretty nice.
I need to start wrapping up all the things at the apartment.
- Laundry
- Scan pictures
- Backup some important documents onto my zip disk
- Return Greg’s briefcase
- Get my bike from the shop
- Get a haircut
- Pack my monitor
- Pack my hard drive
- Pack all other miscellaneous things
- Get some Clancy novels and The Brothers Karamazov
- Sell my bike to Ronnie
